I am hoping this site will be useful for other collectors who are
looking for information or for a reference as they go about
adding smurfs to their own collection. Therefore it is my goal to
be as honest as I can when it comes to displaying my smurf
collection on this site and if I believe a smurf is a repaint or a
fake I won't hesitate to label it a Fake Smurf.

There are many different sections throughout Sgt Papas that reveal all of my smurf collecting habits. You
can view many different variations of the Regular Smurfs as well as the Super Smurfs. There you will be able
to see some of the Fakes & Raw Smurfs which are fast becoming my favourite smurfs of the lot. You will also
see others areas here like the smurf Buildings and Playsets which aim to reveal some of the discoveries I
have come across. Feel free to contact me and say "hello" or even ask other questions which have been
bothering you. I don't claim to be an expert but I will try and answer any question asked.
NOTE: There are quite a few smurfs in my collection that are only slight colour shades, errors or mould
defects and therefore techincally not real variations or ones that should be purposely sought after. These
type of smurfs can be fun to collect as well so I have included them here since they are somewhat different
(even if only slightly) and also as proof that insanity is alive and well in the smurf collecting world. Rest
assure that if I was to put together a commercial guide that I would remove many of these minor/slight
differences and stick to more pure variations. However, I still value different markings as pure variations as
these can display several differences. I think it's kind of interesting to see how many times a smurf was
released with a different marking. With that in mind, I hope you enjoy visiting my website and hopefully you
will go on and take a closer look at your own smurfs in your own collection and hopefully notice new things
that you might of overlooked previously.
